Start with what you have
A good cabinet estimate starts with the existing finish, the condition of the doors and frames, and the look you want. We discuss the project before recommending paint or a stain-and-clear finish. Solid cabinets can often be refreshed without changing the room’s layout.
Preparation is part of the finish
Cabinets collect grease, handling marks and wear. The agreed scope covers the preparation the surfaces need, which may include cleaning, sanding, surface repairs, masking and an appropriate primer. We protect the surrounding work area and plan the finish around the cabinet material and condition.
Kitchens, vanities and built-ins
We work on kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, islands, closet cabinetry and other built-ins. Tell us which surfaces you want included: doors, drawer fronts, frames, end panels and cabinet interiors can change the scope. Hardware changes and repairs are discussed separately so the estimate is clear.
Plan the project around your home
We’ll review color, sheen, access and the work sequence before starting. Drying and curing needs depend on the selected finish and site conditions. We explain when surfaces can be handled and how to care for the finish after the work is complete.
